HBF Kid's Fourth of July Parade

We’re excited to welcome you back to the Heather Bone O’Shaughnessy Kids Parade Fundraiser on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 10AM–1PM at Taylor Field (behind Alden School, next to the Duxbury Free Library).

Families are invited to decorate bikes, scooters, strollers, or wagons and take part in a festive kids’ parade around Alden School. Enjoy a fun-filled morning with:

  • Face painting, patriotic tattoos, bracelet making, and oyster shell art

  • Lawn games and activities

  • A petting zoo and dance party with DJ Dee

  • Snacks, food for purchase from Chestnut St Grille, and a visit from J’s Ice Cream Truck

Registration is free, but we kindly ask all attendees to make a donation to the Heather Bone Foundation following registration. Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a difference. You can also choose to become an event sponsor to further support our mission (see below).

This year, all proceeds from the parade will directly benefit Comfort Zone Camp, a nonprofit that provides healing programs for children who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, or caregiver.

We invite you to register today, bring your friends and family, and help us turn a fun-filled day into lasting impact. Together, we can honor Heather’s legacy by supporting children in need of comfort, connection, and hope!
